Water Remediation Services
With a full-service environmental team that includes scientists, technicians, and other professionals with more than ten years of experience in our industry, Georgia Oilmen's Services is capable of performing many ground water remediation services.
Among the most common are:
Supervision of the installation of groundwater monitoring wells
Collection of groundwater samples for laboratory analysis
Assessment of groundwater samples
Air sparging (AS) - In this procedure, clean air is injected into contaminated groundwater. The air causes the leaked petroleum to turn into a vapor, which is then carried up out of the water.
Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) - Soil vapor extraction is sometimes used in conjunction with air sparging, and involves applying a vacuum to groundwater wells that sucks up the vapor released during air sparging. The vapor is then treated to remove pollutants before being released.
Multi-Phase Extraction (MPE) - In MPE, both soil and water are removed with a vacuum and treated above-ground.
In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) - This process involves introducing chemical oxidizers that break up and destroy the leaked fuel in groundwater.
We have completed groundwater and surface water remediation projects throughout the state of Georgia, and we understand what it takes to meet objectives at budget while causing the least amount of disturbance to daily business activities as possible.
