Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment
Georgia Oilmen's Services, Inc. (GOS) conducts all Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with standards established in “Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process,” designation E-1527-13, published by the American Society for Testing and Materials
We provide phase 1 environmental site assessments for real estate transactions and banking institutions to determine the potential for contamination on a property and the effective land value of the property. It is important to ensure you have a Phase 1 ESA done by a professional environmental consultant to prevent any landowner liability and ensure CERCLA liability coverage.
Phase I Environmental Assessment Report
Our Phase I ESAs provide information on the current and historical conditions of the property and its environs. Utilizing this information, we can better educate clients on the potential for environmental risks and liabilities and determine if a Phase 2 ESA
is necessary. Our Phase 1 environmental assessment report may include:
Review of applicable state and federal regulatory databases
Review of applicable state and federal files
Review of aerial or satellite photography
Review of Sanborn Fire Insurance maps
Site and area reconnaissance
