GOS Can Now Provide Civil Engineering Services
GOS CAN NOW PROVIDE CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES
Georgia Oilmen’s Services, Inc. (GOS) has historically received numerous inquiries regarding providing civil engineering services. These requests have ranged from retention / detention pond construction and maintenance, to site development for convenience store construction. Due to these requests, GOS would like to announce a contract arrangement we have completed with Richard Breedlove, P.E. Richard is a University of Georgia educated Professional Engineer who, together with his wife, Jereme Thompson Breedlove operate a small engineering firm in Lawrenceville, Georgia, called Dovetail Civil Design, Inc.
With this teaming arrangement, GOS can now offer civil engineering services to GOA membership. As you know, convenience store construction is an extremely difficult proposition, requiring many layers of planning and permitting, before construction can begin. With this contract arrangement, GOS can now provide site master planning, rezoning, site design and site development for new convenience store construction anywhere in Georgia. Our services offered also include grading design, utility layout and landscape design.
The GOS team specializes in the full design and permitting of civil engineering site requirements, such as retention/detention ponds, water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, parking, traffic flow, and Department of Transportation (DOT) driveways. Also, for new or existing sites, GOS offers erosion control design, Notional Pollution Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) filing, and upgrades for utility and stormwater facilities.
